Thursday is National Poetry Day



Poetry, for me, is creativity at its best, and I shall be making a big effort to get to at least one ‘poetry’ event on Thursday.

Everyday this week, Jeremy Vine (BBC Radio 2, 12-2pm) is doing a ‘poetry’ slot, choosing a different theme each day and featuring guest poets.

I love his Mr Gee who says writing a poem is ‘easier than baking a cake’!  Here’s Mr Gee’s short film of a step-by-step poetry/making a cake masterclass – brilliant!
