Creative thoughts CAN make things happen

Two things on my ‘to do’ list for 2014 have already happened. And I firmly believe it’s because I’ve been thinking often enough, hard enough, and creatively enough about them since 1st Jan.

The first one was treating myself to a special outfit to wear for teaching my Nia classes.  This being even more important to me this year because the number of classes I’m now teaching has gone from one to two!

I’ve been thinking about it everyday since New Year and what should pop into my email box this morning but a lovely enews from Aura Asia.  I must admit, I don’t often describe ‘enews’ as being ‘lovely’, but I read this one from start to finish, and was captured immediately by the lead image of a beautiful, elegant, and feminine outfit. So I clicked on to the website and have chosen an outfit that suits me and my Nia classes perfectly. A flowing tunic top, easy to wear with leggings or trousers, beautifully designed and created with flattering lines and a scooped back hem, that is simply just, well ….. me. Thank you Aura Asia.

The second one was getting back to writing real letters. I know the technological world has made it easier, quicker and more efficient to communicate in lots of different ways, but I like real letters, i.e. putting pen to paper.  So …. I’ve started the year by writing at least two or three letters or cards a week to family and friends, and, guess what …. I’ve already received five wonderful letters and cards back.

So, it’s worked. Thinking creatively, turning thoughts into actions, and achieving a wonderful sense of positivity and achievement.

Now for the next eight ‘to do’s’ on my list ……….

So this is not scientific at all. But in a couple of hours there have been more than 2000 replies and overwhelmingly they say @RoryStewartUK won the #C4Debate

.@RoryStewartUK again absolutely kills the others by actually sounding as though he is fallible. Whether it is sincere or a performance it is working. @sajidjavid also sounds human by talking about getting things wrong as a dad #c4debate
